Dear Brother:--
Our Delegate, Hon. William H. Hooper, br Andrew Moffat, who has two of my mules in charge, and several of the Elders now leaving on missions, wish to leave their animals wagons, &c. in charge of some trusty and responsible person, in some convenient and moderate priced locality. From all we can learn we have thought it best to ask you to take charge of the aforesaid animals, wagons, &c. at Genoa, until such time as the owners or agents may call for them and arrange with you for the care and expense you may have incurred on their account. You are at liberty to use tithing hay, corn, squashes &c., in feeding the aforesaid animals, when necessary, keeping correct account of the quantity so fed
