President's Office,
G. S. L. City Decr. 5. 1859

Bishop Collister,
Sir:--

I understand that you and bro. Raleigh prized the garden that Bro Collins made at the Hyde place, where Bro Thurston took possession. It would be necessary for you to take out the rent of the house while they were there, and the remainder let it be forwarded to the Office here, to be brought against Bro Thurston, and I will see that it is paid if there is any due. The house has been rented at $200 00/100 per year that is $16.00 per month without the use of the garden, find out how long they were there and charge the rent accordingly, and render the whole account to this office.

Your Bro in the Gospel
