Sir. 

Your letter in relation to Mr. Crow [Isaac] Shepherd arrived  
the 21st inst, and I immediately [loss] 
with my advice to him on the subject [loss] 

So far as I have any knowledge [loss] 
the difficulty has been and still is [loss] 
land that Mr Shepherd has [loss] 
season by which he can prove [loss] 

Should anything favorable come to light [loss] 
answer, or from a rehearing, when [loss] 
Shepherd desires, or from any other [?] I will inform you by the first  
opportunity.
