Elder Daniel Robison
Captain of Hand Cart Company Enroute for this City,

Dear Brother:-

Yours of July 27 came to hand this day, and that of July 21 reached me on the 7th inst.

In the morning two mule teams will start for your company, with some 3000 lbs of flour and some 500 lbs of bacon.

I wish you to be very careful to have all the sacks handed back to the teamster

Be cautious about eating fresh meat.

Praying for your welfare upon your journey, and trusting that you will keep up good courage and spirits, and travel as fast as you can conveniently.

I remain Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
