Elders John Taylor, George A. Smith and Franklin D. Richards,

Dear Brethren-Elder J.D. Rogers writes to me that his company purpose crossing the Little Mountain to-day, and to tarry somewhere in Emigration Kanyon over Sunday, for which reason I would be pleased to have you go out to their camp to-morrow, and preach to them, and give them such instructions as the spirit may dictate; also see Bishop Hunter and Pres. Spencer to-day, and learn from them when the company had better turn their cattle, in case they should wish to turn them out.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
