Dear Brother:-I presume there is some mistake about the report mentioned in yours of the 4th inst., at any rate, I am not aware of any proceeding of the kind you mention.

It is possible that the authorities in Sanpete have advised the people to stop exchanging their grain and other produce at ruinously low rates for goods at exorbitantly high rates, which may have given rise to the aforenamed report.
