Dear Brother:-Elder Dwight Eveleth, of San Francisco, informed me, by letter under date Oct. 18, that he had paid $50 00/100 for you in California, on account of your interest in your fathers estate, and had sent you an order to pay that amount ($50.00/100) to me.

It now having been over a month since I received br. Eveleth's letter, of date as aforesaid, I take this method to inquire of you whether you have received the aforenamed order from br. Eveleth in my favor, and, if so, how soon you expect it will be convenient for you to pay me the money thereon. Your earliest attention to this matter will oblige.
