To all whom it may concern:-

This certifies that John B. Maiben, of the City, County, and Territory aforesaid, is by me hereby, and herein instructed, authorized, and require to proceed at once and take such steps as the circumstances of the case require to secure the payment of a note given by Charles B. Hancock, of Payson, of the County, and Territory aforesaid, to the Trustee in Trust of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, on the 3d of March, 1860, for the sum of two thousand five hundred and fifty eight dollars,  ($2558.00) to be paid, seven months after date, in neat cattle, to the said Trustee in Trust by the said Charles B. Hancock.
