Dear Madam:-In reply to your note of the 21st inst., I am somewhat at a loss what to say. I would presume that Br. Candland's place would suit you and brother Ide very well, for the purposes for which you wish a residence in this City; still, by further search you may be able to suit yourself better than in either of the places you mention, though I do not now think of a more snug and central place for sale, to accommodate a small family, than br. David Candland's.
