Antero and White-eye It is good to be friends with the Shoshones and all other Indians as also with the Whites. If Peeteetneet or any other Indians have stolen horses, return them to their owners if you possibly can. When you see Wash-e-keek tell him my heart is good towards him and all other good Indians. You must teach the Indians to cultivate the land and to raise stock so that they may be able to live within, as the game is fast leaving the country. I give you some tobacco to smoke with Wash-e-keek.
