Mr. Alanson Norton,
Provo.

Dear bro:-

On the 2d inst. I gave to bro. Theodore Curtis, an order on you for ninety pounds Rolls, which I wish to have you pay, on presentation, in rolls. I should be pleased to have a settlement at an early day, of the carding proceeds this year, as I have sold the Machine you have been working, to bro. Erastus Snow, who will take it down to the Santa Clara country early in the Spring; and all the money you can let me have will be very acceptable. I shall want you, probably, to work my machine <now> in this city another year, when, also, I expect to import two or three more carding machines.

Call up and see me when convenient for you to do so.

Your friend & brother.
