Dear Brother:-

In regard to the tithing calves and sheep in your possession, and such as you may receive, I think it best for you to keep them until otherwise directed, inasmuch as you are so well situated and provided for doing so

I am pleased to learn that you are making so good provision for wintering such poor cattle as we may wish to place under your care.

The latest telegram from the States, Washington, Oct. 27, brings no news of special importance.
