Messrs Alfred Jenks & Son,
Bridesburg, City Office, 22 North Front St., Philadelphia, Pa.,

Gentlemen:-
My dealings with you, in 1859, proved so far satisfactory that I am induced to write you for the lowest figures at which you will furnish at Florence or Omaha, Nebraska Territory, three or four Double Breaker Woollen Carding Machines, cards, belting, &c., everything requisite for properly running the machines; the machines and every necessary appendage thereto to be of the most approved kind and of the best material and workmanship, and to be carefully packed and boxed for transportation to this City without injury through careless or insufficient packing or boxing. Your lowest price list, as above, specifying price of a machine, of cards, &c., &c., as in a bill of purchases, at your very earliest convenience, will much oblige,

Respectfully,

H. S. Eldredge
