Dr. bro:-Enclosed is a deed for a lot you once owned in this city, afterwards owned by Elijah Thomas, and bought by me at Sherifs sale some time ago. To make the transfer regular, I wish you to sign the enclosed deed, and get two witnesses to sign it also. Then get the deed acknowledged before a Notary Public or Probate Judge of your county, who will also officially sign the same at the foot of the deed.

Please attend to this matter and then return it to me as early as convenient for you to do so.
