I have advised br. Geo. Q. Cannon of your order, and requested his if paid in time, to forward the money to br. H. S. Eldredge, who will start for the States on the 9th of
March, and will, if he receives the money, purchase the carding machine and Chicago wagon, as you request. I can say nothing about the further arrangements you mention, until I learn <that> the machine is purchased.
