Dear Brother:

From perusing your letter of the 20th ult. I think some one has been mistaken
about my wishing to have lead rolled. So far as I am concerned, it would please me better to see arrangements made for getting the lead out of the mountains than for having it rolled. At present with what little lead there is on hand, we prefer having it in pigs, bars, round, or in white lead.
