Mr's M. Patterson,
Provo, Utah County, U. T.

Dear Sister:

In reply to your letter of Jan. 18, I have to inform you that my advice is for you to make yourself happy and contented, remain on the lot, fence and improve it, keep your children with you, do the best you can, and borrow no trouble about the rent.

I will instruct br. A. M. Musser to inquire into the matter of <the> rent, &c., that I may know what channel the rent a/c should take, that our books my be kept correctly; but, as already stated, I wish you to borrow no trouble about the matter, for we shall not require you to pay the rent under your present circumstances.

Your Brother in the Gospel
