In regard to S. D. Huffaker's letter to you, dated Jan. 28, and your lines appended thereto, I find, by examining our books, that you paid into the Liverpool Office, $13 oo/ 100 of the money in question, which is all that I am present aware of having been paid.

You may know of other particulars concerning the affair, the main points of which you will at once understand, I need to be informed of before I can say much about it.
