I herewith enclose the drafts No. 411, 412, 413, 415, 419, 421, 423, 425, 426. Please pay L1.0.0, to Wm Lewis, at James Lewis, 5 Turron Street, Edgehill, L'pool. Wm Lewis, who deposited in this Office, Dec. 19, 1862 $65.00 to bring out Mary Lewis, Myfyr, Morganwg, Ponti Pridd, Glamorganshire, S. Wales, now wishes the balance in your hands turned over to David Harmon, Oxen St., Llanelly, Carmarthanshire, S. Wales.
My draft No 163, for L8.0.0, favor of Lucy Brunyer, has been returned here and paid by me.
Referring to the inclosed letter from Bro. Bertrand, there will be an opportunity for freighting Bro. Renard's lithographic press and materials by the church train.
The enclosed letter of Bro. Joseph W. Young is written with the idea that cotton cloth for tents and waggon covers may be cheaper in L'pool than in New York. If such is not the case, of course you will at once advise my son Joseph A. Young of the fact, and not purchase.

If you have any credit on your books to Robert Cunningham of this place (said to have been deposited 8 years ago, and to be L10.0.0) he wishes it applied for the emigration of Janette Cunningham, Patrick branch, Glasgow,
Since writing the above I have drawn the following drafts upon you: No 424, L1.10.0 Robert Laidlaw; No 425 L2.16.6, Eliza Searle; No. 426 L2.5.8, Peter Burton.
P. S. Bros. Joseph A Young, John W. Young, Joseph W. Young, H. B. Clawson and W. C. Staines left this City by overland Mail Stage for New York on the 22d inst. Joseph A. Young to take charge of the Emigration business in New York. H. B. Clawson to transact my business, and make such purchases as are required. If he requires funds and draws upon you, it will be all right, --if you have it.
Probably Joseph A. and John W. will visit you, if they have time, and learn something of this year's Emigration, and return in time to meet it in New York.
So soon as my mind can rest upon the proper person, I intend to send him to take your place. In the meantime make all preparation to come home, and you are at liberty to leave in August. In the event of no person arriving from here to take your place in time, arrange to leave the best man in your place until he is released.
