Dear Sister:

Your favor of yesterday was duly received, and perused.

In reply, I will say, that I am satisfied with your efforts while in charge of the school, and that under the circumstances, I am willing to consider our accounts square, by crediting you for your services the sum of what you have drawn on account, which is a little over Three Hundred Dollars an your board.
