Dear Brother,

I have this day addressed a letter to R. E. Palmer, Esq., of New Haven, Connecticut -- in answer to one from him and some fifteen other gentlemen, inquiring of me as to the most feasible method of becoming Latter-day Saints-- referring him to you and giving him your address as an Elder of our Church to whom he an his friends can apply for further information
