Dear Brother:

I have received a letter over the name of Amanda B ? who states that she was married to Joseph Holbrook on the 15th of Aug., 1863, and complains of his treatment of her, and that he has told her that if she could not conform to the rule of his family, she could go-- she had the world before her, and that she could have a Bill. She professes to be willing to meet with him before me.

You probably know about all the circumstances of this case. Can you inform me of them, and oblige
