Sir:

Your letter on the subject of Capt. Trueworthy and yourself holding a Public Meeting to set forth such facts as you have in your possession respecting the Colorado River and its navigation, has just come to hand.

In reply, I have to say that I see no objection to your doing so, and should think that the 13th or 14th Ward Meeting Houses or the lower story of the Council House would be suitable, and could be secured for that purpose.
