President's Office,
G. Salt Lake City,
April 22/65.

A. F. Macdonald,
Provo City,

Dear Brother:

Your favor of yesterday's date, written on behalf of the Committee of Provo Meeting House and making inquiries respecting seasoned lumber, has just been received.

I have lumber in Cottonwood Kanyon which you can have by hauling it yourselves at $12.50 per hundred feet. It will be more convenient, if anything, for you to haul it from the Kanyon than from the City as it is Some miles nearer.

The pay for the Lumber must be in Greenbacks, or 2 1/2 of good clean wheat delivered at my mill.

Your Bro.

Brigham Young
