To the Bishops of Utah County

Dear Brethren,

In view of the great stretch of unsettled Country on the main road running through Millard, Beaver and Iron Counties which will have to be supplied by those Counties with poles for our home Telegraph, I think it but just & proper for the saints of Utah County to furnish & put up the poles from the junction of Utah & Great Salt Lake Counties, to Scipio (Round Valley) Millard County. The small settlements of Mona (Willow Creek) & Chicken Creek in Juab Co. should assist you in this work, while the settlement of Nephi should extend the line i.e. <furnish &> put up the poles from their place to near Fountain Green Sanpete County.

It is proposed to extend a branch line from Nephi to Fort Ephraim via Fountain Green, Moroni, Mt. Pleasant & Springtown. The good people of San Pete Co. will of course furnish & put up the poles for this Branch line from the point where Nephi quits off

Respectfully Your Bro. in the Gospel
