Dear Bro:

Your letter of the 26th. ult, enclosing one from your fatherinlaw, Ezra Strong, came duly to hand. He is evidently a strong spiritualist, but has some good ideas, and the letter was somewhat interesting. <It is> The mixture of truth, with the error that they have, which makes that as well as other systems in anywise attractive to their beleivers who have any sincerity. I wish the old man well, and if he ever comes here you should endeavor to treat him kindly, and make him as comfortable as possible, and endeavor to influence him to stay here with his children.

With love I remain Your Brother,

Brigham Young
