To the Bishops and Brethren South:

Dear Brethren:

The bearers of this-- Indians Quads, Amoosh and To-os-ker I have talked with, and they say they aregoing South into Sanpete Valley, to see Sanpitch and find out what they can. They tell me that if they see Blackhawk or any of his men <or learn where they are> they will let the brethren know it.

I would like you to show them all necessary kindness and give them what assistance is in your power to accomplish this object.
