To the inhabitants of the settlements of the surrounding Country:-This is to inform you that Little Soldier and his band are friendly and peaceably disposed towards the Whites. He should, as usual share in our hospitalities and friendship, believing, as I do, that he intends remaining in fellowship with us, denying as he does of ever having had any other intention.
