Bishop A. J. Moffitt,
Manti, San Pete Co.

Dear Brother:

I am talking of trading with Bro. Tatton, the bearer of this letter, for some city property which he owns. I have proposed to let him my house in Manti, and land enough on the lower, or North, end of my Farm for One hundred acres. You will please let him examine the premises. If you should not be able to give Bro. Tatton possession of the house this Fall, you can probably arrange one of the other houses for him until Spring where he can be nice and comfortable.

Give me an idea of what the property is worth. Bro. Tatton can look at the place himself and see what he thinks of it.

With love, Your Brother,

Brigham Young
