President's Office,
Great Salt Lake City,
October 15th, 1866.

President B. Young Jr.
Liverpool, England.

Dear Son:

On the 18th July, 1865, Isaac Bullock received £5.0.0 from Thomas J. Whitaker, London; which brother Bullock says he sent to the Liverpool Office to be sent to Thomas Whitaker of this city. Did you receive the money?

The sender, Wm Major, of draft no. 551, for £4.10.0, favor of George Major, says that bro. Major is not intending to emigrate, and requests the amount returned. If you find the statement correct, return the draft. The address of George Major, is 27 Cambridge St., Jomei Road, Portsmouth.

B. Young's Jr. advice of Sept. 12th, 1866, states that, "Draft no. 483, £50.0.0 is settled." Draft no 483 is for £5.0.0, and was paid to Jos. H. Fell, by G. Q. Cannon. I do not find any draft issued about that time for £50.0.0.

I have drawn the following drafts upon you:-- No. 891, £13.6.0, Moses Thatcher; No 892, £5.16.0, Nancy Westwood; 902, £4.0.0, Wm. Stimpson; 903, £25.0.0. Chas. Derrick; 904, £3.10.0. W. L. Warren; 905, £1.10.0, Wm. McMaster; 906, £20.0.0, Mrs. Alice Needham,

I herewith enclose draft no 904 for W. L. Warren.

I Remain,
Your Father,

Brigham Young
