President Ezra T. Benson,
Logan, Cache Co.

Dear Brother:

Yours by the hand of Orson Arnold came safely to hand. A number of names for each one of the various offices at the disposal of the Legislature have already been handed in. I submitted the contents of your note to the President; but he said that he thought it would not be wise, in view of the many applications already made, for you to bring 'George down with the hope of getting a position for him.

With love, and hoping to see you ere long, I remain

Your Brother

Geo. Q. Cannon
