Gt. Salt Lake City,
Dec. 27 /66.

Mr. T. H. Rogers,
care of Mr. T. M. Fish,
Post Office Box 5995, Chicago, Ill's.

Sir:

Your favor of Dec. 10th, with enclosed Circular, has been received. Your description of the Concrete brick and their method of manufacturing them is not sufficiently complete
to enable me to form a conclusion respecting them. Is it the press that is patented, (and if so, what is the peculiarity about it that is patented?) or is it the method of mixing the material for which you have a patent? We have plenty of gravel here, and several buildings have been put up of concrete; but not made of bricks. The material is run in a large mould on the wall. I do not know that your Patent could be sold here; still, if the price were known of the right, a better idea might be formed in relation to it; also a description of the whole process.

Respectfully

Brigham Young
