President's Office,
Gt. Salt Lake City,
February 6th, 1867.

Wm. Jennings, Esq.,
City,

Dear Brother:

Your favor of to-day's date has been received.

I do not see that I can do anything about the matter of which you write. We have had a great deal of Lumber from Joseph A.; but for this he has more than drawn enough to cover. The Trustee-inTrust does not own him, and as an individual I can not assume any portion of this indebtedness, as I have just as much as I can do to manage my own business and meet my own obligations.

Your Brother,

Brigham Young
