Bishop Nelson Higgins
Richfield, Sevier Co.

Dear Brother:

Your letter of Feby. 9, about renting the Tithing wheat, has been received. I regret to hear of the failure of your wheat crop and of the consequent shortness of breadstuff, and trust you will be more fortunate the coming season.

You are at liberty to use the Tithing wheat as you propose, only it will be necessary that you keep the names of the persons who receive it, and the quantity that each one gets.

With love
Your Brother

Brigham Young
