The President desires to purchase your house and part lot in the Second Ward, for a brother whose house in the First Ward, will be torn down by the Canal Company. He understands that you ask 600$ in cash or 700.$ in trade for your place. These figures are too high yet if you are willing to take your pay in tithing stock or produce, or both from the Tithing Offices South, the President will take if of you. Please let me know by return mail what you are willing to do in the matter.
