Dear Brother:

I have received another letter from your sister, Mrs. Dick. she says she has spent many uneasy hours about you, and she will be more than glad to get a letter from you soon. She says further, that if I should see you, say to you that your dear father was called away, this winter; he died on the 24th January after a three months illness.
