Dear Bro:

Your letter respecting Chester Snyder and his affairs has been received. Since Brother Snyder's interview with the President, he has received a letter from the divorced wife of Bro. Snyder, in which she complains that she is pestered by Bro. Snyder about the farm, and requests the President's interference. If I could see Bro. Snyder I should advise him to let the whole thing go as it is, and not attempt to reopen the case unless he has stronger reasons for so doing than have come to our knowledge. When he conversed with the President it was not clear where the woman was, or that Bro. Pratt had any authority from her to cultivate the farm; but in her letter she acknowledges that Bro. Pratt is occupying it with her sanction.

The President would not approve of the reopening of the case.

Your Brother
Geo. Q. Cannon
