Dear Brother:

Your favor of August 3rd has been received. I have been away or it would have been answered sooner. I am much pleased to hear from you and that you are feeling and doing well. A number of missionaries will be called at this Conference for the South, and doubtless part of them will be sent to your place. Myself and family are tolerably well. Please excuse the shortness of this letter, I am much hurried. With love and praying the Lord to bless you
