Dear Brother:

Bro. David Day has had an Agent in your Valley by the name of Joseph Simpson, who has been selling goods for him and collected the pay, for which he has not made proper returns. Bro. Day says that there is considerable due to him from Simpson. There are also several hundred dollars in the hands of the people which have not been paid by them to Simpson for goods which they have had from him. Bro Day wants to collect this outstanding means, and also to obtain a settlement with Joseph Simpson. Whatever aid you can extend to him in accomplishing these ends, please render him.

Your Brother
