Sir:-

Yours of 21st inst is received. If the tax has to be paid I would prefer that you sell enough of the flour to pay it. I stated in mine of 21st inst to you, that I wished you to take your pay for all charges on flour by selling enough to make you whole and to let Mr. E. F. Green from this city have the remainder, which I trust will be satisfactory. Mr. Green is himself the bearer of that letter, and you may be in receipt of this first.

I expect the Utah Produce Co will shortly send an agent to arrange all matters pertaining to their flour.
