President's Office,
Gt. Salt Lake City,
Oct. 31st. 1867.

Mr. William Andrew,
Gunnison.

Dear Brother:

Your letter of the 25th instant has been received.

If the P. E. Fund Co. were to take stock for the emigration of the people, they would take upon themselves a heavy labor and expense to convert it into money. This the Company can not do. The people of a neighborhood, however, can put their stock, &c. together, which they wish to dispose of to send for their friends and others, and appoint an Agent to sell it for Cash.

Your Brother,
Brigham Young
