Dear Sir:-- I owe an appology for delaying so long to notify you in relation to those supplies, but it has been almost impossible for me to obtain the bacon, flour and sugar being plentiful.

I now hold receipt of Capt. John McClintock Camp Douglass, for two thousand pds flour and three hundred pds Sugar, and the Seven hundred pds of bacon Shall be sent as soon as I can procure it.
