Dear Brother:--
Complaint has been made to me by bro. Hewitson who states that you have sold a yoke of oxen belonging to the heirs of the late Mary Baily and says he was requested by her to take charge of her property and use it for the emigration of her children. Bro. Hewitson now wants the means which you have realized by sale of the Cattle for the purpose of paying it into the Emigration poor fund for the benefit of the children. Please inform as to the justness of bro Hewitsons claim and oblige
