Dear Bro:-

I send you herewith Copy of a Bill to fix the junction of the U.P. &. C.P.R.R. also, Copy of a portion of a letter from Bro Hooper, which I must confess is not, to me, in all respects intelligible; for instance, he writes:-- "I regret we have moved in the matter of the School Section." It is not clear to my mind what Bro. Hooper means by that.

I think it would be advisable for the parties who have filed for the 18 quarter sections alluded to, to pay for them as he suggests. This will give Settlers an indisputably better hold on the lands, which otherwise, if the bill should pass, the railroad authorities might find something to quibble about. When you have scanned the matter over I would be pleased to hear from you, also, to have the enclosed Bill returned.

I hear with pleasure of your continued recovery & hope that with the improving weather, you will soon be able to move freely around.

Your Bro in the Gospel
