Dear Sir:--

Yours of the 28th. ult. has been received.
Prest. Young is from home on a periodical tour & has left me to attend to his correspondence during his absence.

With regard to the drawings you solicit, viz:-- a plot of the U.C.R.R. on a scale not less than two miles to an inch, & a profile of the road, I have instructed a competent draughtsman to execute them, and they will be forwarded to you soon as completed.

Mr. Ellerbeck assures me that it was Prest. Young's intention to do so.

Thanking you for your well wishes in behalf of our people & wishing you every success.

I am, Very respectfully
Daniel H Wells
