Dear Sir:-

On the 24th inst. I wrote to you respectfully calling your attention to the payment of my claim against the U.P.R.R. Co. of One Hundred and Ninety Eight Thousand, Nine Hundred and Forty Two 38/100 dollars ($198.942 38/100) which, I trust, came to hand.

Mr. John Sharp, my Attorney, will present this letter and my claim, in person, and he is authorized to receive payment of the above, which, I trust, will meet with your immediate attention, as we are very much in need of funds.

Mr. Sharp is already well known to you, and I am confident will receive a continuance of your former highly esteemed favors.

Yours most respectfully,
Brigham Young
