Dear Bro:-

Your letter concerning John Ormerod of Clitheroe, Lancashire, has been received.

I caused an examination to be made into this matter, & I find that in the list returned from the Liverpool Office last year his name appears with the remark that he is not now in the Church.

This will explain why he was not brought out by the Perpetual Emigrating Fund, last year, even after his name had been renewed on the list.
