Mr. N.C. Edlefsen,
Actg. Bp of Ovid, Rich Co.

Dear Bro:

Yours of the 23rd inst. is received. There is an order for $160.00 on the P.E. Fund in favor of Bro. Peter Larsen, in the office, but it is only to be paid, if we have the money, that was the understanding.

I cannot say, yet, how it will be, but as the emigration will not start for some time, let Bro Larsen apply again in about 30 days. that will be quite time enough.

Your Bro. in the Gospel.
Brigham Young.

P.S. Your name is down for a Mission to Scandinavia -- the brethren who are called will start on Friday morning at 7. O'clock on the 13th May, from this City.
