Dear Brother:

Your note of 26th inst is before me regarding the U.C.R.R. Co. paying taxes. The Company expects to pay its County and Territorial taxes, but as you are well aware it is in straitened circumstances at present; having scarcely had time to get itself into thorough working order. But if we can aid you on account of these taxes by hauling, rock, lumber &c. we shall be happy to do so.

Your Brother in the Gospel.
