C.W. Eastwood Esq.
Se. Beethoven Centennial Assn. New York.

Sir:

Your kind invitation to President Young, to attend the Beethoven Centennial Musical Festival, has been received, but I regret to say that President Young is now away from home, making an extended tour amongst the settlements in the northern portions of the Territory, and will not return until towards the close of the month. Permit me, however, to thank you, in his name, for your courtious invitation, and the kind feeling that prompted the same and which your letter breathes.

I remain, Sir, Very Respectfully Yours

Geo. Reynolds
Sec to President Young
